This image might look familiar to you, and yes, that would be because it's one of our "Welcome To Oregon" images that we use, but it was originally a photograph taken by Jessica Axford on a walk on the Mike Miller Educational Trail. It was a cool day out in Newport, and you can see how the fog swirls around the old growth Sitka Spruce, creating an essence of mystery and showcasing the collection of moss, ferns, and low lying shrubs on the forest floor.
